The organiser of Dublin’s Web Summit is to recruit an additional 30 staff next year, doubling its employee numbers as it expands its operations.
The firm, which is also behind the F.ounders event, is planning its first office outside Ireland, in America, as it expands in the US, Asia and Africa.
The jobs include designers, developers, speaker co-ordinators, finance positions and a scheme for graduates.
The Web Summit was founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Patrick Cosgrave. The first event had 200 attendees. This year it attracted 4,200 people in October, along with many high-profile tech leaders.
It currently employs 30 people in Ranelagh, Dublin and runs events in Dublin, London, Berlin and New York.
