Apparently the new generation of kids are going to change everything we thought we knew about the internet and marketing. Well, that’s according to internet entrepreneur Dylan Collins.
And he should know. The tech titan is renowned for building some of the best-known internet companies and games brands over the last decade, including Fight My Monster, Jolt Online Gaming and Demonware.
On Wednesday, he will address the Digital Marketing Institute conference on the subject of Marketing Hacks and Dirty Little Secrets, where he will reveal some of his most successful and not-so-successful marketing techniques and tactics.
The half-day conference will take place in the Chartered Accountants House in Dublin, and will showcase a selection of some of the best “real-world” digital marketing case studies from Ireland and internationally.
Educational software provider Thoughtbox will reveal how blogging contributed to its success, while a low-budget campaign for Tour America that used a clever mix of landing page formats, social media, display advertisements and web banners, resulting in one of the company’s best travel sales day events to date, will also be showcased.
“The case studies will cover all areas of internet marketing across a variety of budgets and are designed to highlight practical tips for delegates to take away and apply to their businesses,” says Ian Dodson, chief executive of the Digital Marketing Institute.
