Ogilvy & Mather's teaser campaign for Ford seems to be working with one potential customer reporting that he had seen a Wasis on a car transporter and others arriving into dealers around the State requesting brochures.
However despite the broad hints, the Wasis is not a car, it is Ford's latest trade-in deal aimed at January buyers and the details will be spelled out in advertising beginning to morrow when the teaser phase of the campaign ends.
The company is spending £1 million (€1.27 million) on the campaign which is being run across radio, press and posters and the promotion is designed to propel Ford's new Fiesta into number one position in the small car category ahead of Fiat's Punto.
