THE Dublin based consultancy group TDI has won an $8 million (£5 million) contract from the government of the Argentine to improve the competitiveness of Argentine export firms. The initial contract is for two years and a further contract is planned, if the first stage has a successful impact on export performance.
The programme is being co financed by the World Bank and includes a substantial results based incentive payment for the consultants responsible for managing the programme. TDI won the contract in the face of strong international competition, with some 70 consultancy firms from all over the world seeking pre-qualification for the bidding process.
