Ireland has been ranked 11th in an international survey which examines public perceptions of 34 developed nations across the world, writes Suzanne Lynch.
Ireland outperformed Britain, the US and France in the survey which was conducted by Reputation Institute.
The institute is a New York and Dutch-based organisation which conducts research into the area of corporate reputation.
Citizens in the G8 countries were interviewed for the survey, which measures the reputation of 34 nations across a range of categories.
Despite Ireland’s strong performance, it underperformed in the areas of “effective government”, “technology” and “brands and innovation”.
