PROFITABLE times in the advertising business, judging by the latest accounts filed by the parent company of Irish International Advertising, Irish International Communications Group.
According to the results for the year to the end of last March, Irish International Communications, whose business includes various media-type companies, more than doubled profits to over £332,000 even though turnover was flat at £12.5 million.
Belt-tightening seems to have been the key to Irish International's improvement. Salaries fell from over £1.9 million to just under £1.7 million.
