Fifty new jobs are being created by Siemens Nixdorf in Dublin as part of the company's move into consultancy services and its drive for a significant market share as an enterprise solutions provider.

A new competency centre is being opened on foot of an agreement under which Siemens Nixdorf will market and support Oracle's "Financials" application package in Ireland. To date, customers using the Oracle system in Ireland have had no Irish-based consultants for these applications.

Now SNI are recruiting senior consultants for Oracle financial applications. They will be experienced in the Oracle product and focus on helping customers identify business drivers and ensure the application is implemented.
