Travel agents, angry at Ryanair's decision to cut their commission on airline tickets, last night promised court proceedings to protect their earnings. "You can take it that we're quietly confident we'll be in a position to proceed with legal action in the next couple of weeks," said Mr P J Brennan, president of the Irish Travel Agents' Association. Earlier this month the ITAA abandoned its plan to boycott Ryanair after the Competition Authority warned that it saw such a campaign as anti competitive and illegal.
