Ryanair's finance director, Mr Howard Millar, has made a profit of almost €820,000 on shares options he exercised in May 1997.

Mr Millar bought 66,766 shares at that time at €1.14 each and sold them into the market yesterday at €13.40 each.

The gain on the transaction was €818,551.
