REUTERS Ireland has launched its new 3000 series, a service that cost Reuters over $100 million (£62.4 million) to develop and which has four products Markets, Securities, Treasury and Money.
The new service would provide access to a new database of historical and background information in equities, bonds and foreign exchange rates, and also includes a new multi media news package comprising the Reuters news service and Reuters Financial Television.
Reuters Ireland manager, Ms Maureen Marlowe said. "Since we launched the 2000 series some 10 years ago, there has been a phenomenal number of changes and upheavals in the financial markets. These have been reflected in the volume of data we cover and an ever increasing rate of update traffic."
