Q-Zar, the Texas leisure and entertainment company, managed by an Irish team, has increased its pre tax profit by 65 per cent from $2.7 million to $4.1 million in the third quarter of 1996. Revenue almost doubled from $6.6 million to $12.8 million.
Chief financial officer, Mr Michael Boyle, said the results give us confidence and indicate that our projections of $100 million (revenue) for the 1997 year may be conservative and that our emphasis on creating recurring revenue streams is finally paying off".
