The business consultant, Prospectus, has appointed two new senior consultants. Ms Gillian Ivory is responsible for projects in the financial services, software and healthcare sectors, while Mr Paul Murray specialises in the financial services sector. He was responsible for a recent report entitled "Using EMU to revisit your business strategy".
The Enterprise 2000 fund, a joint initiative between Forbairt and Bank of Ireland Business Banking, has appointed Ms Clare Shine as fund manager.
Ms Shine has worked with Bank of Ireland for several years and since 1994 has been based in its enterprise support unit. She also acts as a mentor for the Inner City Enterprise Initiative.
The new president of the Society of the Irish Motor Industry is Mr Jerr Nolan of Renault Distributors, Kylemore Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin. He succeeds Mr Victor Hamilton.
Mr Max Hayes is the new brand marketing manager at Grants, the drinks distributor. He will be responsible for brand strategy on an all-Ireland basis. He is leaving his position as market activity manager with Masterfoods Ireland.
The Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants has elected Mr Sean Finn as chairman of the society. Mr Finn is employed with Jefferson Computer where he has been financial controller and company secretary since March 1995.
Mr Eddie O'Flanagan has been appointed managing director of Hapag-Lloyd Ireland, a subsidiary of international shipping line Hapag-Lloyd. Mr O'Flanagan was previously sales director of the subsidiary, which was established in its own name in January 1997.
GA Life has appointed Mr Paul Dennehy and Mr Tony Burke senior broker consultants to the company's Cork office. It has also appointed Ms Evelyn Hanrahan and Ms Gillian Ryan to its Limerick and Dublin offices respectively.
Cybex Europe, the Shannon-based provider of switch and extension products for PCs, has named Mr Sean Whelan as its new sales and marketing director.
