Global recruitment specialist Manpower has promoted Mr Jason Kennedy to chief executive of the Manpower Ireland Group

Global recruitment specialist Manpower has promoted Mr Jason Kennedy to chief executive of the Manpower Ireland Group. Mr Kennedy joined Manpower Ireland in January as managing director. He has previously worked as deputy managing director for the Marlborough Group.

A number of new appointments have been unveiled at SoftCo. Mr Alan Kilduff has been appointed software development director with responsibility for R&D and customer software development globally. Mr Paul Lyons has been appointed manager of consulting services with responsibility for SoftCo ASP services.

UK-based IDC has established a local presence in Ireland, with the appointment of Mr Keith Gaffney as business development manager for the Irish market.

Kadius Systems Limited has appointed Mr Nicholas Hodges as chief financial officer of the company. Mr Hodges is a qualified chartered accountant, bringing more than 10 years' experience in the finance, IT and electronics sectors to the company. He has been working with Kadius for the past year, having joined the firm from Redcliffe Magtronics Limited.

Ms Sonya McGinn has joined Sanovitae Health and Fitness as sales and marketing manager. Ms McGinn studied sales and marketing, leisure management and health and fitness at the Leisure Corporation Group UK and is a fully qualified fitness instructor.

Mr Lorcan Wood has been appointed as head of Irish infrastructure at National Toll Roads. He has 10 years' experience in the energy and engineering sectors with ESB and MF Kent.

In addition to having specific responsibility for the second Liffey Valley bridge project, Mr Wood will be responsible for new business development, including leading the NTR involvement in Celtic Roads Group.

Dara Creative Communications has announced the appointment of Mr Michael O'Dwyer to the board as director of design strategy.

NRG Energy has appointed Mr Richard Cottee as vice-president and managing director, United Kingdom and Ireland, to oversee asset management and business development.

BUPA Ireland has strengthened its management with two senior appointments. Mr Donal Clancy has been appointed director of operations, following the appointment of Mr John O'Dwyer, current operations director, as managing director of Friends First Life. Mr Niall Devereux has been appointed director of finance and development.
