The new national online news, information, shopping and communications service, Online.ie, has appointed Mr Colm Dunne as marketing manager.

Mr Dunne was formerly marketing services manager with the Voluntary Health Insurance Board.

RTE Commercial Enterprises has appointed Mr Neil Clancy as head of interactive services business unit. Mr Clancy was formerly head of new media at the Sunday Business Post.

iCommerce has appointed Mr Ian Hyland as chief executive and Mr Seamus O'Farrell as chief operations officer.

Mr David Potts is to become retail director of all Tesco operations in Britain and Northern Ireland. Mr Potts will continue to be a member of the Tesco Ireland Advisory Board.

Mr Martin Cosgrove has been appointed head of legal, compliance & audit at Prundential Europe Management Services. Prior to his appointment, Mr Cosgrove, held the position of accountant, insurance division at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. Expo Exhibitions has made two new appointments. Mr Garret Buckley and Mr Alan Murphy have been appointed as joint managing directors of the exhibition, conference and event management company.

Labyrinth, the ebusiness company, has appointed Mr David McMahon as general manager. He will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of Labyrinth.

Ms Rosemary Commons has been appointed consultant with Watson Wyatt, the actuarial, benefits and human resources consulting firm. A mathematics graduate from University College, Dublin, Ms Commons joins from Lifetime Assurance.

High Wire Creative Group has appointed Ms Karen Hennessy as business manager. A graduate in International Marketing and Japanese, Ms Hennessy, worked previously as project co-ordinator for a number of arts organisations.
