The Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers has appointed Ms Valerie Little as president of the association. She is group treasurer at ESB.

One of Ireland's leading e-business experts, Ms Dee Carri, has joined PA Consulting Group from Elan Corporation, where she was vice-president of information technology. Ms Carri, who is chairman of IBEC's Telecom Users Group, becomes managing consultant for e-business at PA.

Ms Tina Roche has been appointed chief executive of Business in the Community, with overall responsibility for Business in the Community and management of the Foundation for Investing in Communities and the National Children's Trust. She previously worked for the National Gallery and the Sunday Tribune.

FTI, the financial consultancy based in the International Financial Services Centre, has announced the appointment of Mr Eddie Fogarty as managing director. His predecessor, Mr Aengus Murphy becomes chairman, while Mr Kieran McDonald, formerly head of IT at the National Treasury Management Agency joins the company as director, information technology.

Advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather has appointed Mr Mark Hilltout and Mr Ian Brower as joint creative directors. Mr Hilltout and Mr Brower have a long established creative partnership, most recently as creative directors of Ogilvy & Mather Belgium.

Mr Matthew Salway has joined TV3 as director of programming from Viacom-run channel Gulf DTH in the UK. Mr Salway, who has an honours law degree from Queen's College, Cambridge, spent 15 years with the BBC where he held a variety of positions including screen editor on the Radio Times, producer in documentary programmes and programmer for BBC2. He left the corporation in 1994 to help set up UK Gold, the satellite TV channel. Two years later he joined the team starting up a trio of channels broadcasting to the Middle East for Viacom.
