Hewlett-Packard Ireland has made a number of new appointments

Hewlett-Packard Ireland has made a number of new appointments. Ms Catherine Doyle is the new corporate account manager and will be responsible for the company's PC, fileserver and notebook products. She previously worked in the corporate business division of OKI Systems. Mr Martin Cullen has become hard-copy account manager with responsibility for the sales of large printers and laserjets.

Norbrook Laboratories has appointed Ms Jackie D'Arcy as director of communications. She is joining Norbrook from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.

Dunloe Ewart has appointed Sir David Fell to the board as a nonexecutive director. Sir David is currently chairman of Northern Bank and Boxmore International.

Aer Rianta has appointed Mr Oliver Cussen as assistant chief executive (corporate development). He will be responsible for organisation and personnel development strategies. Mr Cussen joins the company from the Department of Education & Science, where he was assistant secretary-general.

Robert Roberts, the Dublin-based tea and coffee blender has made two appointments. Ms Roseanne Dunne is the new product manager with responsibility for home and export markets, including Europe, Canada and America. She previously held management positions in Boyne Valley and Walsh Family Foods. Mr Conor McMahon has become marketing assistant with responsibility for retail tea and coffee sales.

Ms Andrina Moore is the new event and sponsorship manager for the 1999 Esat Telecom Young Scientist Exhibition. Ms Moore was previously marketing manager with independent Dublin radio station, 98 FM.

Mr Steven Hennessy has joined Friends First Finance as head of operations. Friends First Finance is part of the Friends First Group and specialises in leasing, hire purchase and personal lending. Mr Hennessy joins the company from Bank of Ireland Finance where he held senior management positions.

The recruitment company, HW Harrison Willis, has made three new appointments. Mr James Sherwin becomes commerce and industry consultant and Ms Ursula Hannon becomes a consultant in the permanent banking and financial services division. Mr Mark Deveney has been appointed as consultant dealing with banking and financial services.

Mr Pierce H. Kent of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland has joined Portobello College Dublin as its consultant director of development.
