ORMONDE Mining, the small Irish exploration company, has completed the first stage drilling programme on its La Dura property in Sonora, Mexico. The company is now planning a reevaluation of the structural controls on the mineral deposits at La Dura. It also working on expanding its ground holdings in Mexico. It expects to step up its exploration activities there in the coming months.

The company has also said it has begun geological mapping and sampling on the Seke mine area of its Mrengi licence in the Musoma Mara area of the Lake Victoria Goldfield.
