Mr Chris O'Connell has resigned from Investment Bank of Ireland to become managing director of Shelbourne Development, a property company run by Mr Garrett Kelleher.

Mr O'Connell, who worked for IBI for the past six years, will take an undisclosed stake in Shelbourne, which has projects valued at £180 million under way.
