The Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke, and Sir Reg Empey, the North's Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, yesterday awarded a major consultancy contract for the preparation of information papers on the energy situation in both jurisdictions and a draft report on options for the future evolution of both markets.

The successful bidder is IPA Energy Consulting of Edinburgh.
