THE Swedish information technology company, Sigma, is to set up a software development centre in Ennis, Co Clare, which will create 45 new jobs over the next three years. Sigma Softlabs is the first overseas software project to locate in Ennis, Ireland's Information Age Town.

The company will provide a range of consultancy, project design, software development, project implementation and technical services, and about 90 per cent of the Ennis employees will be graduates.
