A directory of voluntary organisations providing marriage, bereavement and child counselling, called Support for Families, has been published by the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs.

The listing contains 300 entries, including details of the Family Mediation Service now available in nine centres around the State and Legal Aid Board centres.

The directory is expected to be an invaluable reference for lawyers, citizens' information centres, family resource centres and the hundreds of local community organisations which provide information and advice to families.
