Two new stockbroking houses commenced trading on the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) yesterday, bringing the total number of ISE members to 22. Independent UK broker Tullett & Tokyo Liberty (Equities) Ltd and SunGard Global Execution Services Ltd, which is quoted on the New York Stock Exchange, joined Ireland's select line-up of stockbrokers. ISE director of trading Mr Brian Healy said their application to join the ISE reflected the interest among international institutional and private investors to deal on the Irish market.
