Mobile industry giants Ericsson, Motorola and Nokia have successfully demonstrated the world's first interoperable mobile instant messaging and presence services.
Carried out in Kista, Sweden, the demonstration showed how three mobile phones were able to connect with two different mobile instant messaging and presence servers - one located in Sweden and the other in the US.
Meanwhile, Nokia is offering internet and mobile phone users the chance to take part in Nokia Game 2001, an interactive all-media adventure that will be played from November 4th to 23rd in 28 countries in Europe and the Middle East. Details of the game can be obtained from the website www.nokia.com.
