DONNELLY Mirrors, the American manufacturer of automotive mirrors, is to carry out a major expansion of its Naas, Co Kildare, plant which will create 190 new jobs over the next three years.
Donnelly, which set up in Naas in 1968, currently employs 324 people. The company manufactures electrochromic mirrors which dim automatically to reduce headlight glare - for European, American and Japanese motor manufacturers.
Recruitment for this latest expansion has already begun, according to the Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Mr Bruton, with most of the jobs in manufacturing, creating employment for people with Leaving Certificate and technical experience.
