The Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke is to write to the Telecom Eireann unions inviting them to talks regarding the purchase of a 14.9 per cent stake in the State telephone company.

It follows a meeting yesterday between the Government party leaders aimed at moving the talks forward again. Talks on the complex issue were postponed before the general election.
