A new interactive computer software training package has been launched by Irish company, Midland Computers. NetOp School can be operated via remote control and allows complete interoperability between all work stations. It has already been installed at FAS training facilities in Galway, Athlone and Limerick, and has been supplied to University College Cork and Athlone Institute of Technology.
NetOp will allow the user access the instructor's screen as well as other students' screens to view a specific application or computer feature. The instructor can monitor each trainee's PC screen without interrupting the student, and where necessary can take control of the trainees mouse and keyboard using a remote control. Programmes can be launched on all trainee PCs simultaneously using one command, and during demonstrations the student keyboard and mouse are locked. A fully operational one-month evaluation can be downloaded from Midland Computers' website (http://www.midland-computers.ie)
