Increasing market share in the Irish and British markets through growth of its existing businesses is the task recruitment group Marlborough International has set itself over the next year, according to its managing director. Speaking after the company's annual general meeting in Dublin yesterday, Mr David McKenna said the group's three-year plan was to concentrate on expanding Walker Hamill, the British recruitment company it acquired for £21 million last January and on regional expansion in Ireland.
Marlborough has added to its offices in Dublin, Limerick, Waterford and Cork, opening offices in Athlone and Sligo and planning to open one in Dundalk within three months.
