If the Special Branch were to come across a bunch of men with blackened faces creeping across the Wicklow mountains, you might expect that they would be hoping for some charges under the Offences Against the Sate Act. But you would be wrong.
In fact it might easily be the cream of Irish managers pitting their wits against each other, courtesy of Glen Dimplex.
In truth the challenge sounds far more mundane. Teams from both sides of the border will be using their "existing management and interpersonal skills" in a series of physical and mental challenges over two days and five courses on September 6th and 7th.
But some serious tackles can be expected as Fergus Slattery, former Lions and Irish international rugby player, will be leading the celebrity team on behalf of the Arthritis Foundation of Ireland. Anyone who fancies their chances competing with the elite troops of Irish business should get into training for it now.
