INSIDER dealing does not exist on the Irish stock market or at least that is what the latest report from the Stock Exchange to the Department of Enterprise & Energy suggests.
No reports were made to the Director of Public Prosecutions about suspected breaches of the legislation on insider dealing.
Four investigations were carried out by the Stock Exchange, and one of these is ongoing. In the other three, the Stock Exchange chief executive, Mr Tom Healy, decided that a report to the DPP was not required.
