The five executive directors of Kerry Foods enjoyed an average increase of close to 26 per cent in their remuneration package last year and shared a total of £2.65 million (€3.36 million), an average of £530,000 each. The five directors are: managing director Mr Denis Brosnan; deputy managing directors Mr Hugh Friel and Mr Denis Cregan; Mr Michael Griffin, and Mr Stan McCarthy.
Basic salaries rose from £930,000 to £1.2 million, while performance-related payments rose by roughly the same amount, also to £1.2 million. The rest of the combined package involved benefits-in-kind of £83,000 and pension contributions of £169,000.
