STRONG growth by Kerry Group in 1995, with the group's sales rising above Pounds 1 billion for the first time, has been reflected in a 54 per cent rise in remuneration paid to the group's five executive directors.
Directors' remuneration rose from Pounds 798,000 to Pounds 1.23 million, with performance related payments accounting for Pounds 361,090 of the 1995 figure.managing directors, Mr Hugh Friel and Mr Denis Cregan and directors, Mr Michael Griffin and Mr Jerry Houlihan.
Last year, Kerry sales rose from Pounds 797 million to Pounds 1.12 billion with pre tax profits up from Pounds 39.7 million to Pounds 43.2 million. The year included the Pounds 250 million DCA and Margetts businesses and the Mattesson Walls chilled meat business for the first time.
