Green with envy of those who are able to afford the green fees at the K Club and Druid's Glen? Fret not for the exclusive courses will be available on the new video game, PGA Eurpean Tour.

To be launched in February, the Nintendo 64 version includes Druid's Glen and Carnoustie, Scotland, while the PlayStation version will include San Roque, Spain, Hanbury Manor in Britain, and the K Club, Co Kildare, site of the 2005 Ryder Cup.

Added effects will be "the soft chirping of birds" and "the calming sound of water trickling in the nearby streams", according to the official announcement.

Sceptics who believe intermittent showers and that curious Irish light will not feature will be reassured that they "can expect realistic weather, wind and water effects, while special light sourcing effects help to accurately portray the time of day that the game is being played".
