The ITG telecommunications group yesterday lost its application for an order compelling Eircell to sell to ITG, pending the outcome of legal proceedings, its electronic pre-paid "Ready To Go" vouchers or codes for mobile phones.

ITG Group plc had sought the interlocutory order pending the determination of its action against Eircell arising from the latter's refusal to allow ITG sell Eircell airtime from terminals.
