Irish Life announced a deal with Fidelity Investments that will allow retail customers of the life and pensions company to have their investments managed by Fidelity.

Fidelity is the world's largest independent fund management organisation. The Fidelity choice is immediately available to retail investors in Irish Life's new suite of Pension and Retirement investment funds (Approved Retirement Funds).

The choice will be extended to investors in life products early next year when the Government introduces a new taxation structure for these products.

Other managers available are Gartmore, Ulster Bank Investment Managers, Prudential and Irish Life Investment Managers.
