Informix Software is to create 100 jobs over the next four years at its centre in Ballymount, Dublin. The jobs, to be announced today by the Minister of State for Local Development, Mr Chris Flood, will be mainly for graduates in software engineering, marketing support and information services.
The jobs are part of an expansion of Informix's software development division and its shared services facility at Westgate Business Park. Its Dublin office employs 130 people.
California-based Informix Corporation is a leading database software company and its products include data warehousing, online transaction processing and e-commerce. It employs 3,500 people in 40 countries.
