The Irish Bankers' Federation has introduced two new information initiatives, which will make it easier for bank customers and the public to obtain information on banks and banking in Ireland.

The Irish Banking Fact File includes 17 separate factfiles on a range of topics and is available free from the IBF or any of its member-banks. Some topics include: bank charges, investor compensation, bank profits, the euro and deposit protection.
