Irish Internet service provider, Indigo, has formed a strategic alliance with WorldPay, a specialist in Internet payment processes. Now Indigo's corporate customers will be offered electronic commerce enabled websites, incorporating an advanced secure system for accepting credit and debit cards and micro-payments.
Indigo claims the new service will allow traders sell up to 1,000 products, in multiple currencies, on their websites. "In-Business" will be launched early next year following testing to comply with ISO9000. NatWest Bank will be providing the internet merchant accounts for any Irish companies passing standard credit card merchant accreditation.
