There are very few industries or sectors of industry that can say to new recruits coming into the business: "It is within your grasp to own your own business and to be your own entrepreneur."

The need for an in-house trainer:

Somebody has to worry about skills in a business, no matter how small a business is.

As a free market economist:

I think the market should always decide.

The value of business contact:

You are never done learning, you cannot talk to enough people in this industry and beyond.

The job:

To be honest, it really turns me on from a management perspective, the whole aspect of bringing about change and seeing it through.

I feel very strongly about consulting with people. I do not always have the answers, in other words.
