THE Irish Management Institute has launched a new competition for writers of case study material on Irish companies and on developing indigenous firms. The competition, announced at the weekend, will be organised jointly by the IMI and the European Case Clearing House which is attached to Cranfield University.
The case study material generated through the competition is intended for use in management education and training in Irish universities and business schools, according to the IMI.
The competition will focus on four categories of companies: multinationals based in Ireland, public sector organisations, financial and other services and small and medium sized businesses.
The overall winner of the case writing competition will receive £1,000. There will also be four category prizes of £500. The competition is jointly sponsored by ICC Bank and The Irish Times.
