ILP, the Leixlip-based computer packaging company, has encountered lower demand for its products in the first quarter of this year, shareholders were told at yesterday's annual general meeting. This is expected to affect adversely the first-half results.
However, chairman Mr John Bourke said the second quarter was "showing a stronger demand level and the indications for the second half are for very strong demand". If this continues, ILP expects to be returning to a "more normal pattern of business" for the rest of the year.
