A REPORT which claimed that almost three quarters of companies in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) have to recruit most of their staff abroad is "without foundation" and potentially damaging to the centre, according to Mr Gay Mitchell, Minister for State at the Department of the Taoiseach.

He was responding to a survey by an Irish executive search firm on the centre published last week.
