ONE of the legends of the hotel trade is retiring. Michael Brennan has been group general manager of the Doyle Hotel Group for the past 20 years. The late P.V. Doyle first brought him on board in 1970, when he was building the Burlington Hotel. He was subsequently promoted to group general manager and worked with P.V. Doyle as the group expanded.
