Hibernian and Irish Permanent are the latest public companies to pay a second interim dividend to shareholders to allow them to avail one last time of their tax credits.

Hibernian has declared a dividend of 13.2 cents (10.4p) per share in lieu of a final dividend for 1998. It will be paid on March 26th to shareholders on the company's register at the close of business on March 5th next. Irish Permanent shareholders will get a second interim dividend of 17 cents which will also be paid on March 26th.
