TRANSPORT Systems plc, formerly Andaman plc, returned to profitability during the six month period to September 30th.

Southern Road Markings, the company's principal subsidiary, had pre tax earnings for the period of £58,000. In the 15 months to March 31st, transport Systems incurred a loss before tax of £1.3 million sterling.
