UTILITY AIRTRICITY recently launched a TV ad campaign which focuses more on the fact that it is selling cheap electricity than “green” electricity.

The animated campaign features children speculating about the enormous amounts of cash that their parents have saved by switching to the company.

The ad is the brainchild of The Gate Worldwide, a global agency. In this case, the agency’s Edinburgh office handled the campaign, presumably because Airtricity’s parent is Scottish Southern Energy.

Airtricity is in good company, the Gate’s other clients include AIB (GB), Bank of New York, HSBC Investments and JP Morgan.
