Northern Ireland pharmaceutical group Galen will be officially floated on the Dublin stock exchange this morning. The pharmaceutical company will begin trading at yesterday's closing London price of 258p sterling and will make up about 1 per cent of the ISEQ index.
Since its London listing in July, Galen has performed well, with the shares up some 66 per cent from their flotation price of 150p sterling. Galen is one of the largest manufacturing employers in Northern Ireland, employing some 630 people. The company is also expanding rapidly with new plants being built in Craigavon, Co Armagh and in Philadelphia in the US.
