DUE to a transcription error which appeared in the 15 year comparison tables in the Family Money/TIPS Personal Pension Survey, and which was reproduced in last Friday's column, the 1996 values which appeared were incorrect. Guardian Life's values, as reported, were in fact, those of Norwich Union and instead of being ranked fifth in this category, GRE Life should have been ranked in second place.

First place ranking should have gone to Friends Provident with a 15 year maturity value of 106,247. To set the record straight, the reproduced below.
