Irish Continental Group (ICG) has announced changes in its fleet, including the sale of the group's container vessel, mv Rockabill. The combined proceeds of the transactions amounted to £6.3 million, according to ICG. The Rockabill, which had been chartered in a joint venture to Dundalk Shipowners, was sold to a Norwegian buyer, ICG said. The developments also included the chartering of its multipurpose mv Saint Patrick II to Hellenic Mediterranean Lines for four and a half years. It will service the Greece/Italy route. The charterers will own the vessel on completion of the charter.
ICG said the Ireland/France route will now be operated by the newly-introduced mv Normandy.
