The first four Websites have been selected to go forward from the first stage of the 1998 Irish Business Website Awards competition.

Chosen by Web authors, designers and media and Internet experts, the four companies are Excellent Music, Card Services International, the Irish Jobs Page and Fixtronix.

The competition is open to businesses of any size, and each month the judges select a number of sites for consideration in the final rounds. Websites can be nominated free of charge from the awards area on http://www.kompass.ie
