The Public Relations Consultants' Association (PRCA) has announced its shortlist for awards which will be presented on June 24th. Just before the shortlist was announced Fleishman-Hillard Saunders took the most unusual step of withdrawing two of its entries from the competition. Work for Flexicom and the FAI was withdrawn to "avoid an unseemly squabble", according to Mr John Saunders, managing director at FHS. The two accounts left the agency last month with two of its senior executives, Mr Declan Kelly and Mr Jackie Gallagher. The PRCA awards are presented on the night to both the client and the agency.
